Pray for VBS Next Week

Church Family, we are gearing up for another VBS week, and we couldn’t be more excited! It is such a privilege to share the love of Jesus with over 350 kids next week.
 
We are already praising God for how many diligent volunteers have come in to prepare crafts and other supplies, for how many in our church turned in donations that we will use all week, and for the many new volunteers this year. It takes well over 225 volunteers to pull this off, and we are positioned well. 
 
During VBS next week, we will be taking the kids on a Jungle Cruise from Genesis to Revelation to show the children how it all points to Jesus, our King!
 
We know that there are many in our church who aren’t able to volunteer but still love the mission of loving and sharing Jesus with our kids. If that’s you, would you commit to praying for VBS 2024? If so, below are some prayer points to guide your prayers.

Ways to Pray for VBS:
 

• That, most of all, God will be pleased, glorified, exalted, and blessed by VBS!
• For wisdom, creativity, protection, and energy as we plan and execute the mission project partnering with Camp Reveal.
• For our VBS Director Team (Abi Snyder, Kristi Valiant, Maryann Elkins, Katie Carnahan): wisdom, creativity, strength, endurance, good use of time; physical, emotional and spiritual protection.
• That the Lord would bring in many children with special needs to be able to attend VBS and provide for their health and safety.
• For our Children’s Ministry Team Leader, Kyle Carnahan: wisdom, creativity, strength, endurance, good use of time; physical, emotional, and spiritual protection.
• For the Children’s Ministry Team as they take on extra jobs to help support VBS.
• For the children to understand how the Bible shows us God's perfect plan of salvation as we introduce them to key events from Genesis to Revelation.
• For Pastor Dale as he prepares sermons that connect with the Bible lessons we will encounter during VBS. 
• For the coordinators over each of the areas of VBS and for their health and preparation, as well as that of each VBS Volunteer.
