New Check-In Process

One of the key motivators in changing our membership process was to better care for people in the CFC family who may have had to miss church for a few weeks. That has been hard to do in the past because many don’t check in with us weekly, so we aren’t sure if you were here or not! We have a new process to follow up with those who haven’t checked in with us for 3 consecutive weeks to make sure that they are okay and see if they need anything. If you don’t check in weekly, we may be bugging you as we plan to err on the side of caring!
 
With that being said, the amount of people who checked in went up by quite a bit last week, so thank you for getting us started off well with this new process! We hope to see that percentage increase next week, too.
 
This new process will greatly reduce the time it takes you to check in each week. In case you missed Kyle’s announcement about the process and instructions for how it works, you can continue checking in like you always have by texting or using the app, but in an effort to make it even easier, there are now QR codes on the seats in front of you to provide another check in option.

1. Open up your camera and scan the QR code.
2. It will initiate a text to us. You can also just text WELCOME to 812-867-6464, and that will get you to the same place.
3. Once you send the text, you'll get a link back.
4. Click the link, and we’ll know that it’s you!
5. You can then check in the family members who are with you. One member of your household can check the whole family in.
6. For those of you who already check your family in when you check your children into their CFC Kids classes, you don’t need to check in again during the service.
7. Once you’ve checked in, you’ll have the option to view info about giving and read the eBulletin, as well as sign up for opportunities and/or submit prayer requests on the Connection Card.

 
If you are worshiping via the LiveStream, you’ll text LIVESTREAM to 812-867-6464 and then enter your information at the link that is sent back to you.
 
Ultimately, as a church, we are called to care for you. We also believe that as a member of this family, you deserve to be cared for. Thanks for continuing (or starting) to check in with us each week so that we can check in with you when you need it the most!
