Using your knowledge of the flood (Genesis 7), how does God spare Noah and his family from judgment?  How might this account, or the accounts of Lot's family leaving Sodom, the Israelites leaving Egypt, or Rahab's family being secure in Jericho speak to the nature of the rapture of believers?

2 Timothy 3:1-5 warns of perilous times in the last days, describing societal moral decline. How can we discern these signs in our world today, and what practical steps can we take to remain faithful to Christ amidst such challenges?
