Blessed and Thankful
by Christian Fellowship Church on February 4th, 2026
We celebrated baptisms at the 9:15 and 10:45AM services this past Sunday, and we walked away blessed and thankful! It was a powerful reminder of the life-changing work God is doing among us.  As 17 individuals stepped into the water to be baptized, we heard personal testimonies of grace, healing, restoration, and new life in Christ. We are deeply thankful for each person who shared their story and...  Read More

Filthy Rich

Luke 19:1-101 Jesus entered Jericho and made his way through the town. 2 There was a man there named Zacchaeus. He was the chief tax collector in the region, and he had become very rich. 3 He tried to get a look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowd. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree beside the road, for Jesus was going to pass that way. 5 When Jesus came by, he look...  Read More

Wealth On Fire: A Study of Job's Life Through Devastating LossJob is described as blameless, fearing God, and extremely wealthy (Job 1:1-5), yet God allows Satan to test him by removing his prosperity and family (Job 1:8-11). Reflect on the questions raised in the lesson: "If God stopped 'blessing' me, would I stop loving him? Do I love God for Himself alone?" Share honestly—how do material blessi...  Read More
Wealth on Fire

Job 1:1-51 There once was a man named Job who lived in the land of Uz. He was blameless—a man of complete integrity. He feared God and stayed away from evil. 2 He had seven sons and three daughters. 3 He owned 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 teams of oxen, and 500 female donkeys. He also had many servants. He was, in fact, the richest person in that entire area. 4 Job’s sons would take turns prepar...  Read More

Looking at Deuteronomy 17:14-20 and the guidelines God gave for Israel's kings (no multiplying horses, wives, or wealth; daily reading of the law), why do you think God set these specific boundaries? How did Solomon's life (as seen in 1 Kings 10:14-28 and 11:1-3) directly violate each one, and what does this reveal about the dangers of seeking security, status, or satisfaction in things other than...  Read More

Deuteronomy 17:14-2014 “You are about to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you. When you take it over and settle there, you may think, ‘We should select a king to rule over us like the other nations around us.’ 15 If this happens, be sure to select as king the man the LORD your God chooses. You must appoint a fellow Israelite; he may not be a foreigner. 16 “The king must not build up a la...  Read More

CFC Family, we are overwhelmed by how you modeled the heart of Jesus this holiday season. Thank you!
