What a Response Thank You

There is an awesome call to live and love to God's glory in Psalm 115:1, which says, “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory, for your unfailing love and faithfulness.” 
 
We share that because we want to let you know the final totals from the donations that came in for the Thanksgiving Food Drop and Christmas Eve Offering. This is a praise report of how our loving and faithful God has given us the opportunity and ability to direct our finances for His greater glory in this world. 
 
For the Thanksgiving Food Drop offering, we had $83,411 that came in to stock food pantries all over the Tri-State so that those in need can be blessed with available food in their homes. 
 
For the Christmas Eve Offering, we gave to Operation Mobilization’s TeenStreet FireStarter Project. We had $74,838 in total contributions from the congregation. Praise the Lord! The Global Outreach committee/team also matched this amount using missions budget funds that have come in through tithes and offerings, making the total we are able to send $150,000. This will enable 15,000 of the Bible study FireStarter cards to be printed and distributed all over the world to teens and young adults! These additional funds were taken from the 15% of every dollar given to CFC that we designate to go toward global initiatives. Thank you all again for donating to these projects!
 
We have committed that every single dollar given for both projects will go toward the intended initiative. May our Lord be honored in the use of our financial gifts, and may many in our world respond to who God is and what He has done. We can declare: “Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name goes all the glory, for your unfailing love and faithfulness.”
