Orchestra Member

Help lead the congregation in worship through song by playing an orchestral instrument as part of the CFC Orchestra.
The Win: Volunteers getting to use their unique gifts/talents to serve the congregation and create an engaging environment of worship.

This is the right role for you if:
  • You currently play an instrument or have played one in the past and would like to do so again
  • You have a heart to lead others in worship through song
  • You are a Team-Player
Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Attend weekly Orchestra rehearsals
  • Practice music throughout the week
  • Participate in dress rehearsals and lead worship in services approx. 6 times per year
Time Commitment: 1 hr per week usually (and about 4 hrs on weeks that the Orchestra is playing in service)

Voices of Praise Choir (Classic Venue)

Sing as a part of the Voices of Praise Choir to lead worship in our Classic Venue Services most Sundays.
The Win: Volunteers getting to serve the congregation and create an engaging environment of worship.

This is the right role for you if:
  • You love to sing
  • You have a heart to lead others in worship through song
  • You are a Team-Player
Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Attend weekly, Wednesday evening rehearsals
  • Participate in most 8 am Classic Venue Services
Time Commitment: 1.5 hr per week rehearsal Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8 pm. 1 hr Sunday - leading musical worship

Worship Choir Member

Sing as a part of the Worship Choir to lead worship in our Worship Services a few times a year.
The Win: Volunteers getting to serve the congregation and create an engaging environment of worship.

This is the right role for you if:
  • You love to sing
  • You have a heart to lead others in worship through song
  • You are a Team-Player
Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Attend rehearsals
  • Practice assigned music leading up to the Sundays that the Choir is leading 
Time Commitment: 1 hr per week only on the few weeks leading up to Sundays that the Choir is leading in Worship Services (and about 4 hrs for actual services when leading)

Worship Team Vocalist 

Lead worship through song during Worship Services.
The Win: Volunteers getting to use their unique gifts/talents to serve the congregation and create an engaging environment of worship.

This is the right role for you if:
  • You have a heart to lead others in worship through song
  • You are a Team-Player
  • You currently sing proficiently
  • You are willing to follow/take direction from the director
  • You are able to sing on pitch and hear parts easily
  • You are able to sing with a metronome/click and the rest of the band
  • You are able to sing in a contemporary worship style
  • You are punctual
  • You are able to access Planning Center either through the website or app
  • You are proactive in rehearsing and preparation

Volunteer Responsibilities:
  • Attend rehearsal on weeks you are scheduled to serve
  • Play in services and attend soundchecks on weeks you are scheduled to serve
  • Periodically meet with Worship Team Leader and attend Worship Team gatherings
  • Practice music for assigned weeks prior to rehearsal

Time Commitment: Most team members serve every 4-6 weeks and on those weeks would be committing to a total of 8 hrs for rehearsal, soundcheck, and services on the weeks they serve plus independent preparation time leading up to rehearsal and throughout the week between rehearsal and Sunday services

Worship Team Instrumentalist 

Play an instrument during Worship Services.
The Win: Volunteers getting to use their unique gifts/talents to serve the congregation and create an engaging environment of worship.

This is the right role for you if:
  • You have a heart to lead others in worship through song
  • You are a Team-Player
  • You currently play an instrument proficiently
  • You can read chord charts and/or lead sheets
  • You are willing to take instruction from the director
  • You are able to play well with metronome/click and the rest of the band
  • You are punctual
  • You have necessary gear
  • You are able to access Planning Center either through the website or app
  • You are proactive in rehearsing and preparation

  • Attend rehearsal on weeks you are scheduled to serve
  • Play in services and attend soundchecks on weeks you are scheduled to serve
