Creative Arts Team
Production Team
Be a part of the team that provides video and audio production for our Sunday Worship Services. There are multiple positions in the Worship Center and Classic Venue Services that will be listed below.
The Win: Through serving in our worship services, we glorify God by helping people to worship Him, which helps to make disciples of all people. The team’s goal is to provide engaging environments that encourage the church to worship God.
This is the Right role for you if:
Time Commitment: Most volunteers serve on the team about once a month. Those in the Worship Center serve from approximately 7:30 a.m. to Noon and 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. each time they are on the team. Those volunteering in Classic Venue serve from approximately 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. when they are on the team.
Volunteers Needed: Some people serve in one position only, some are cross trained and serve in several. Each weekend, we need 3 people in Classic Venue and 9 people in Worship Center services.
Additional Requirements: Each position receives training and shadows the position until they are ready to serve on their own. The length of time in training depends on the position and how quickly the person is able to learn. Those who serve with Live Worship Sound Mixing and Video Director require church membership, the other positions do not have to be members.
This is the Right role for you if:
- You can have a background in video or audio production, or you can join the team, and we’ll teach you.
- You need to be able to pay attention to detail and focus on your tasks.
- You need to be able to take direction and constructive criticism.
- Video Director
Manages what is seen on the video display screens. This helps focus our attention during the worship services. This person “directs” camera operators as well as the graphic operators during the service. Also directs the content that is provided for CFC’s LiveStream. - Camera Operators
Provide a closer, intentional view of our weekend service and special events that enhances our live worship and streaming. - Lighting
Controls and programs the lighting (house and theater) in the Worship Center to contribute to the environment and help us focus in our time together. - Live Worship Sound Mixing
Combines and process a number of audio signals (instruments/voices) from the Worship Team to create a “mix.” The balance of these elements helps create a musically worshipful environment for the congregation and Worship Team. There are opportunities to serve in both Classic Venue service, Worship Center services and for audio recording and live streaming. - Graphics Operator
Controls computer graphics, lyrics, message notes, and videos that guides the congregation in our services. There are opportunities to serve in both Classic Venue service and Worship Center services.

Stage Design Team
Be a part of the team that creates backgrounds, decorations, sets and visual elements that are integrated into our worship services. We change out the set at Christmas, and then 2-3 other times throughout the year.
The Win: The team’s goal is to provide engaging environments that encourage the church to worship God.
This is the Right role for you if:
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):
We redesign the look of the stage a few times throughout the year. The team creates the vision, the elements needed, the building/acquisition of elements, and the installation of the design on the stage.
Time Commitment: Most of the creative planning is done during weekday hours at a couple of meetings 4-6 times a year. Building and installation may be during weekday or evening hours. The time needed depends on the complexity of the design.
Volunteers Needed: 6-10
Additional Requirements: Design, carpentry and painting skills are not required, but are helpful.
This is the Right role for you if:
- Are artistic and creative
- Can work as part of a team to visualize and implement stage design
- Are realistic to what would work in this setting under the direction of the Creative Arts Team Leader.
- Are able to commit to help with the implementation of the design. Some hours can be during the day and some can be in the evening.
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):

Stream Team (LiveStream hosts)
Serve as an online host for those watching our LiveStream during weekend services.
The Win: You help those who can’t attend services to have a personal connection and interaction during the service. Provide them with resources, information, etc.
This is the Right role for you if:
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):
During your assigned service, you will login as a host to the online chat on our LiveStream. You can proactively engage people as well as answer questions, respond to comments, and offer prayer. We would also provide many materials and resources the person would need to succeed.
Time Commitment: 1-2 times per month. You can host from a room here at CFC on our computer, or you can host from anywhere on your computer or device.
Volunteers Needed: Would involve serving DURING one or more of the weekend worship services (outside of the service itself) – either at home or in a private area here at church
5-6 additional people
Additional Requirements: CFC membership is required for this role.
This is the Right role for you if:
- are comfortable using a computer.
- can work on your own.
- are dependable.
- can engage in a positive and Christ-like way online.
- can pray with people online.
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):
During your assigned service, you will login as a host to the online chat on our LiveStream. You can proactively engage people as well as answer questions, respond to comments, and offer prayer. We would also provide many materials and resources the person would need to succeed.
Time Commitment: 1-2 times per month. You can host from a room here at CFC on our computer, or you can host from anywhere on your computer or device.
Volunteers Needed: Would involve serving DURING one or more of the weekend worship services (outside of the service itself) – either at home or in a private area here at church
5-6 additional people
Additional Requirements: CFC membership is required for this role.
Photography Team
Be a part of the team that provides photographs for various CFC events, elements, and services. This can include baptisms, child dedication, weekend services, all-church events, and other ministry happenings.
The Win: Part of the Creative Arts team, this group takes photographs that capture moments in the life of our church family.
This is the Right role for you if:
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you): Team leader will assign you to various events, and you can choose to accept or decline. You will be expected to complete the assignment if you accept it, take the requested pictures, edit them, and provide them to Creative Arts Team leader in a timely manner.
Time Commitment: This can vary depending on church events, but you might expect once every month or two. You can decline an invitation to serve if it doesn’t fit your schedule.
Volunteers Needed: 4
Additional Requirements: Background check is required.
This is the Right role for you if:
- have photography skills and an eye for what makes a picture engaging.
- have proper equipment and editing skills.
- are available to attend occasional events as requested by the team leader.
- are able to take guidance and constructive help on your work.
- are able to not be a distraction when taking pictures.
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you): Team leader will assign you to various events, and you can choose to accept or decline. You will be expected to complete the assignment if you accept it, take the requested pictures, edit them, and provide them to Creative Arts Team leader in a timely manner.

Christmas Decorating Team
Work in conjunction with the Stage Design Team to help with setup and tear down of Christmas decorations.
The Win: Many guests, as well as many of the CFC family, are here during Christmastime. We want to make the church look festive, warm and inviting. It takes a lot of hands to do that.
This is the Right role for you if:
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):
Time Commitment: This can vary, but 4-6 hours during the week after Thanksgiving and 4-6 hours in the week after New Years.
Volunteers Needed: 10-15
Additional Requirements: No additional requirements
This is the Right role for you if:
- Like decorating for Christmas.
- It’s helpful if you can come during the day, but some tasks can be done after hours.
- Some duties require lifting, but not all of them do.
- You must be able to take direction to meet the vision the Stage Design team has already created.
Volunteer Responsibilities (we can discuss which is a good fit for you):
- Put up decorations as assigned by the Stage Design team.
Time Commitment: This can vary, but 4-6 hours during the week after Thanksgiving and 4-6 hours in the week after New Years.
Volunteers Needed: 10-15
