Our Giving Platform Has Changed
Most churches use a third-party platform for giving. Last week, we learned that our third-party giving platform that we have used for years was shutting its doors. This was unexpected and abrupt. As quickly as we could, we moved onto another platform, and we were quickly up and running! While some things may be different, we are pleasantly surprised with how this will enhance the CFC members’ worship-through-giving experience. We will now be supported by Tithely. They currently serve over 39,000 churches around the country, including many of the nation’s largest churches. We know that a good majority of people at CFC have moved into online giving (and even recurring online giving), so this information is important to you. If you give by cash, check, stock, or other ways, then nothing changes for you.
No matter the method you choose to worship through giving, always know that if you have any questions at all, you can call our Accounting office during regular office hours on Monday – Friday. We are here to serve you as you use these gifts to make a Kingdom impact.
For those who give online, please know that the information below is provided in an effort to make your giving experience easier.
For recurring gifts, you don’t have to do anything. Everything should migrate over from our old platform if it hasn’t already. But, in order to see your info and history of giving once all data is migrated, please set up an account by linking to Tithely from the GIVE NOW buttons on our GIVE page.
For those of you who had an account and went there to give weekly, biweekly, monthly, or annually, you can now set up your new account on Tithely by linking from the GIVE NOW buttons on our GIVE page. It will ask you to connect your credit card or bank account that you wish to give from. After you set it up the first time, you are good to do as you have always done. Data is currently migrating, and you should see your history and info soon if it’s not already there.
Tithely has an introductory video that may be helpful for you to view. Please note that it references all of their services, including some that we do not use. You may view it HERE.
We know there may be questions along the way, and our staff is ready to serve and help you! While our giving platform has changed, and change can be difficult, the Lord never changes. We can’t wait to gather and worship Him Sunday! See you soon!
