THE PURPOSE: Our Mentoring Program connects spiritually hungry young adults (ages 18-29) with mature believers for intentional one-on-one discipleship. This program aims to foster spiritual growth, provide life guidance, and build lasting relationships centered on following Jesus Christ.
THE COMMITMENT: To ensure a meaningful experience, we ask all participants to commit to the following:- Duration: A 9-month commitment running from September through May.- Frequency: Meeting with your mentor or mentee bi-weekly (at least twice per month) for 60-90 minutes per meeting.- Group Gatherings: Participation in quarterly group gatherings with the full Young Adult ministry.- Intentionality: Completing agreed-upon reading or reflection assignments and maintaining open, honest communication.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The program is structured to help participants build a relationship foundation in the first two months, followed by focused discipleship and attention to growth areas such as career decisions, relationships, and spiritual disciplines.
READY TO BEGIN:
For Mentors: Mature believers willing to guide others must complete a background check, attend a training session, and maintain regular contact with the program coordinator.
For Mentees: Young adults seeking growth should be ready to engage deeply in Bible study and prayer while honoring meeting commitments.
