Anna's Song

The cast of biblical characters who testify around the birth of Jesus is quite the variety: John the Baptist’s priestly father, Zechariah; the witness of heaven from the angelic host to the shepherds; a layman standout, Simeon, and perhaps the almost overlooked widow, Anna. A faithful intercessory prayer warrior, Anna’s lyric is not recorded for us but the tune of rejoicing is still apparent.
