A Wise Child Follows & Loves

A wise child works hard to follow the path of wisdom. In a world full of distractions and forms of entertainment that make it easy to be lazy, wisdom tells us to roll up our sleeves and get to work. The loves of a wise child are properly ordered. A love for wisdom supersedes a love for immediate gratification and happiness. A wise child knows that though wisdom and gratification are often at odds, wisdom and joy are not.
