Heart Wounds
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.

Heart Wounds Healing Groups is a Bible-based, small-group ministry under CFC's Pastoral Care ministry that helps adults process deep suffering — including grief, abuse, trauma, and conflict — in a safe, confidential environment. The program uses a proven model developed by the Trauma Healing Institute (THI) and World Impact, integrating mental health best practices with Scripture.
Groups of 6–12 people meet weekly for 6 sessions (approx. 12–15 total hours) guided by certified facilitators.
The webpage will help the congregation learn about the ministry and meet key facilitators (Michael Dye, Lisa Radke, Shawna Hampton), find upcoming group opportunities, and register their interest.
A pilot group for staff and families runs July–August 2026, followed by a full congregational launch in November 2026.
CFC Facilitators:
Michael Dye
Lisa Radke
Shawna Hampton
