Team Member

Hours: Hourly, 40 Hours/week

Accountability: Director of Facilities

Position Summary
As a member of our facilities team this position will work on a team to help maintain and care for our campus. This role focuses primarily on maintenance, repairs, and ensuring our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for all who enter. This person will play a key role in supporting the mission of the church by creating an environment where ministry can thrive.

Primary Functions

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs  
• Maintain our 57 acres with lawncare and landscaping needs
• Proactively identify and address facility issues before they become problems 
• Assist with setup and teardown for events and ministry activities 
• Help manage preventative maintenance schedules 
• Support occasional campus needs, including weather-related response (snow, ice, etc.) 
• All other duties assigned by Director of Facilities or Project Director 

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance (church, commercial, or residential preferred) 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Good communication and a positive, servant-minded attitude 
• Physical ability to lift, climb ladders, and perform manual labor as needed 
• Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends
