Pastor David Niednagel 1944-2026

With joy for David and sorrow for all who love him, we share the news we knew would come soon: David Niednagel, Founding Pastor of Christian Fellowship Church, has passed away and is now with his Savior in Heaven. This comes after a recent pancreatic cancer diagnosis.
 
For David, the hope he preached for so many years is now sight. The Savior he loved, served, and proclaimed has welcomed him home - where faith has become reality and every earthly sorrow has given way to the presence of Christ. Today, we imagine David fully healed, fully joyful, and fully at home in the glory of Heaven.
 
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. – 2 Timothy 4:7-8
 
We think of the many, many people who came to know Jesus as their personal Savior because they heard Pastor David tell of the “great swap” that happened through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. No doubt, David would want you to know Jesus as your Savior, too.
