Men's Ministry - Pursuing God, Growing Together
Today’s eNews is mostly about our Men’s Ministry, but, ladies, we hope you read it too! Please share it with the men in your lives.
The men of CFC have come to anticipate a Men’s Meat Up every August. This event is fun and meaningful, and it brings our men together for fellowship and faith-building.
This year at the Men’s Meat Up, our men will receive a challenge from a man who was notoriously opposed to the Christian faith and antagonistic toward his wife’s new relationship with Jesus. The Lord got ahold of his heart and turned his life’s direction around in a huge way. Fast forward to the present, and now he and his wife serve with CRU and are supported by CFC. Come hear his amazing story!
The Men’s Meat Up is Friday, August 7. It will start at 5PM with a car show in the parking lot, and the dinner and program start at 6PM in the gym. The cost is $10, and you can register online or by texting MEATUP to 812-867-6464. There will be plenty of door prizes, including a mini-chainsaw! You can find out about what’s happening in the CFC Men’s Ministry, how God is using small groups to encourage and grow men in their faith, and how you can get involved. The deadline to register is Sunday, August 2. We hope you will join us and bring a friend along, too!
