If you’re looking for an introduction to who we are, we hope this helps. At CFC, we’re about changing the world, and we welcome you to be a part of that with us. On this page, we’ll walk you through our vision and how you can be a part of it. We’ll teach you about two ways to connect with others, a small group and a serving team. We’ll let you know what we’ve got for your children and students because we care about them. Also, we’ll let you know about the best ways to keep in touch with us, and know what’s going on at CFC.

Our weekend service times are Saturdays 5:30 PM, and Sundays 8:00 AM [Classic Venue in the Chapel], 9:15 & 10:45 AM.

Our vision is for the people of CFC to be “pre2f3: unleashing compassion” people. It sounds like a lot of letters and numbers, but really, it’s about three things: (1) introducing people to Jesus, (2) becoming more like Jesus, and (3) loving like Jesus. That’s it.

pre2: Introducing people to Jesus who do not yet know or follow Him.
f3: Becoming more like Jesus by being a fully functioning follower of Him.
unleashing compassion: Loving like Jesus as He was compassionate towards people.

“Membership” at CFC is participation in a Spiritual Growth Plan aligned with the vision of the church. Spiritual Growth Plan 2012 is your own personal plan for the year to introduce people to Jesus (pre2), become more like Jesus (f3), and love like Jesus (unleashing compassion). SGP2012 is about more than membership; it’s about your growth and maturation as a follower of Jesus.

Connecting with others at a large building can seem like a daunting task. f3 groups, or small groups, are a way to engage with others outside of Sunday morning. Simply put, it’s a group of people who gather to be fully functioning followers of Jesus together. It’s a way to encourage and support others and be encouraged and supported yourself. It’s a way to connect and a place to belong.

Serving teams are people volunteering and working together to make this place what it is. Being a part of a serving team is being a part of changing the world. Our serving teams combine all sorts of elements. We have six teams with many different roles for each team: first impressions, worship arts, children & students, building, events, and prayer & care.

Changing the world begins here! Children’s Ministry at CFC is called “Treasure Seekers.” We partner with families to build children into fully functioning followers of Jesus. Our student ministries include Middle School Ministry “msm@cfc”, High School Ministry “hsm@cfc”, and College-Age Ministry “@jofomo”. Students are engaged in the discovery of a vibrant, growing faith. We help young adults own their own journey of faith and make the transition from student life to adult life.
