David Niednagel will lead a four week discussion class, April 14-May 5, where we share what has most helped us learn to pray, and what will be helpful to others. The class will meet at 10:45AM in the chapel.
Insights into the Resurrection Class
On 14, Mar 2013 | No Comments | In Classes | By admin
Over the last 50 years, a revolution in the field of New Testament criticism has been occurring and is bringing new encouragement and useful information to modern Christianity. In our single session, we will be sharing the three events that most modern scholars now regard as historical fact concerning Christ’s resurrection. Using the method of inductive reasoning that a detective uses to analyze evidence, can bring us to the life changing realization of how these historical events are best explained. Many of the past methods of explaining the resurrection are examined and you will see why on the basis of a closely reasoned approach, a strong, rational explanation emerges. Come and be blessed! The class will be held Sunday, April 7th, at 10:45 AM in CFC room 406.
Great Questions! About Origins
On 17, Dec 2012 | No Comments | In Classes | By Andi Miller
All Ages Welcome
Sundays @ 9:15 AM in Chapel
About 80% of today’s youth stop going to church after college because they haven’t been taught how to defend the bible or how to defend their Christian beliefs. We need the truth. Wouldn’t it be refreshing to be able to harmonize the Bible with true science? Can we as kids, parents, or grandparents provide true answers to these questions?
See how the world looks from the perspective of Christian Ph.D. scientists as opposed to evolutionists who use only part of the science and tell an undocumented story with it.

Living My God-Given Dreams by Andrea Rietman
Facilitator: Andrea Rietman
Length: 8 weeks
Details: limited homework
Description: Living My God-Given Dreams, Even When It Feels Like a Nightmare
A Study of the Life of Joseph. Only God can take all things — good and bad — and work them together for the good of those who love Him. See how a man who was betrayed by those who were closest to him, falsely accused by those he had worked hard to prosper, and forgotten by those he had ministered to became an instrument of God’s redemption and an awesome picture of Jesus Christ! This is a study everyone can relate to as we will learn from the principles found in God’s Word in fellowship with other ladies.
12 Women of the Bible by Lysa Terkeurst
Facilitator: Elana Epple
Length: 6 weeks
Description: Life-changing stories for women today
The Law of Love
Facilitator: Bonnie Tingley
Length: 6 weeks
Description: Lessons from the pages of Deuteronomy is a six-week lecture series by Beth Moore. The class will be an overview of the book of Deuteronomy. Bible Scholar, Timothy H. Lim, said, ”No book of the Bible manifests a greater concern for the transmission of the faith to the next generation.” Warning: This study could be addictive and compel you to study the whole book on your own!
