Thank You from Ruth’s House-August 2nd Saturday

Thank you so much for everything you all have done.

The ladies were so moved by the school supplies. Many of them stated how nice everything was. They could not understand why anyone would spend that kind of money on them and their kids. Many do not feel worth the attention because of their past. I told them that God says He loves us while we are yet in our sin.

God looks at us and sees us as worthy not because of us but because Jesus died to cover us.

Mercy is not Mercy when it is deserved.

The Love that was given by your church members will be a lasting impression on the hearts of these women.

I am so thankful that God has put us together for the good of these Ladies.

One child looked at their mother and said “mom you really do still love me.” That is what I wanted, for the kids to know that mom still loves them in spite of not being there. That they are not forgotten, and that Jesus is watching out for them and mom.

The cleaning supplies and paper products are such a help. We have such a shoe string budget for those items that every month we run out and do not have the money to replace them. If it was not for individuals like those in your church, I am not sure what we would do. You truly are the hands of God, and I pray that each of you are blessed ten times the blessing you have been to us.
